Storm moving in. Last night the schools called for an early dismissal since the snow isn't predicted to start until just before noon. This morning they canceled completely. Apparently when it starts, it will be coming down quick. Working from home!

A nasty Norther just moved in (4:00 am)
and we're getting hammered with heavy
rain and gusty wind. Well, it IS still winter.
Glad I got the garbage out last night. I
also texted the renter next door (14 y/o
boy) that garbage needed to be out before
8:15 in the morning. No response, still is
not out yet at 6:30. Guess they'll have to
deal with it for another week. Pee-yew.
I have been complaining for months that something is wrong with my company cell phone. The touch screen doesn’t work more than half the time. I have to put it to sleep and wake it back up a couple times before it responds. It doesn’t let me answer calls most of the time (also touchscreen issue) and sometimes it will randomly call people. Last night, it started taking pictures, all on its own. It was sitting about 3 feet from me, not being touched, and it starts clicking away. That was the last straw, they finally agreed to get me a new one. Happy dance!
Awoke to 1.5 inches of snow and it is still coming down. It's predicted to be 2 - 4 and then mix with ice later as the temp warms. Thankfully, I'm home for the day and don't have to work.

I told the controller it was possessed by an evil spirit. He said “I would expect nothing less from you”

DS' stitches are healing nicely. His pediatrician knows him well. She predicts this won't be his last round of stitches. I'm sure it won't be. Rambunctious kid. I have to give DS kudos. He really listens well to doctors. The PA that stitched him told him not to touch the stitches and he hasn't. His pediatrician touched them lightly as part of her exam and he promptly said don't touch the stitches.
Monday was a big day for DS. He graduated to a high back booster. We have a 3 in 1 for him (5 point harness to high back booster to regular booster) and he hit the weight limit for the 5 point harness. He is VERY happy about getting to use the seat belt. It fits him perfectly too. DH is ecstatic over not having to deal with the harness anymore. I had to laugh at my dad. My dad loathed the harness because the straps would get twisted and he'd have to untwist them. He called the seat every name in the book and insisted it was a cheap, no good brand. The new high back booster we bought for his Jeep is the same brand as the 3 in 1 he was using yet he declared it the best brand ever. I kept my mouth shut and told him I was glad he liked it. I converted both 3 in 1s to high back boosters. One will be staying in my truck. The other will be going in my in law's car. My dad likes the new seat because it's narrower and allows for more room in the back seat.
My uncle got a new truck today. DS helped him pick it out. I was informed that DS wants a car seat for his uncle's truck too. I like having a car seat in each vehicle anyway so works for me.
Too cute! Yes, I remember switching from the 5 point harness car seat to shoulder harness booster was a big day. They can get in and buckle themselves. Until the day you can ditch both! What a glorious milestone!

It is! DS is super excited that he can buckle himself now. "Now I don't have to wait for Daddy! YAY!!!!"
Didn't go to work today...migraine. But I had an adjustment and massage scheduled this afternoon. I wanted to cancel, but G said it may be good. My chiropractor put me in a dark room and spent about 15 minutes with me. And then the massage, 90 minutes, deep tissue. I walked out of there a different woman. The girls at the desk said I physically looked like a different person. I know I felt it!
