Oh, I am home. I got the okay to do this from home, unlike last time....so since OPM says return the following day when reopens, that means tomorrow. But these boneheads don't know OPM rules so they are scratching their heads.
They did, and T signed it. We should have sent letters out first thing, log off, go home, and report back MOnday to reopen. That's how it's done orderly, per orders from our secretary. But directors waited and now are scratching their asses trying to figure out what to do. They waited and now waiting for it to reopen. Can't do that, but what do I know.

Home today. School called while I was on my way to work. Jojo was complaining of a headache and felt like she was going to throw up. I get that the schools are being cautious, but she seems fine.

They are worried about the flu. I got a call from church a couple weeks ago regarding a cough my son had. Wanted me to come get him. He was fine. He had a lingering cough from a cold he was recovering from.
I consider myself lucky. No one in my family has had the flu and I don't know anyone who has. I see all the news about it so I find it weird that I know no one sick.

Our local school is being hit hard by the flu. It's the littlest ones that are getting so sick and ending up in the hospital. A good friend brought her 9 month old DD home from the hospital this morning. The baby has had the flu for over a week and was admitted to the hospital on Monday. Poor little thing.
DH and I have not had the flu. Knock on wood..
Still cold here! Bone chillingly cold. It's a whole 4 above right now. Brrrr!!!!

Faith isn't something that keeps bad things from happening. Faith is what helps us get through bad things when they do happen.
My brother and his family has had the flu, it may be worse in some parts of the country and not so bad in others. I have been taking airborne so I hope this helps. I do know that the hospitals here are full of sick patients.
The flu is so bad in my county. Working in the hospital doesn't help. I've gotten the shot and have a pretty good immune system so I hope that keeps the odds in my favor.

Fed little man chicken fried rice for his dinner and watched G.I. Joe cartoons like his daddy watched as a little boy❤️ He sings the G I joe song while he plays with his army men just like his daddy did as a little boy.
Read him a bible story and now he is sleeping. I bought him some new toys to give him through out the day tomorrow so it would keep him busy so he won’t miss his mommy and daddy to much. He has stayed the night before but only one night.
Some schools are closed because of the flu. Hoping they can stop the spread.
Thank God none of us have had it.
Caitlyn had 1 kid in her class test positive for the flu.
She's bleaching and using lysol twice a day.
