Please see the official portraits of Pres Obama and his wife. Well, it's definitely Pres Obama, although I don't know why he's sitting in a poison ivy, but that's definitely NOT his wife. It's looks like one of those memes where someone posts how great their portraits are, just for them to look like a 6th grade art project. They were so focused on hiring black artists, they overlooked the fact that they are quite talentless. But hey, they ARE black!!!!!

I don’t think it is even close to what she looks like. I disagree with her in every way political, in my opinion I think she is a beautiful woman and this painting isn’t a good representation of a First Lady.
I agree. All politics aside, I feel bad for her. She's got to live with that the rest of her life, or insult that artist. This is exactly why "revealing" stuff like this should not be allowed...

If you had sent me Michelle's portrait and asked me who it was, I would have never guessed. She picked a famous black artist...she picked wrong. That is a disgrace. Politics aside, she deserves better...

She does deserve better. But through her own political and race choices she needs to own this. I really don't feel sorry for her.

I think Obama's picture is even worse, looks like he is sitting in the middle of poison ivy or weed. You just need a ivy wreath around his head and a joint. They should insist on a do over.
Why is he sitting in a bunch of vines? Her painting looks nothing like her. I bet there are thousands of black artists who could have done so much better.

One of the artists painted a couple of pictures of a black women holding a head of a white woman. No more sympathy from me.
I heard that. Also heard she paints only headless whites. Can you imagine if a non black artist did that?
The artist will rightfully be passed over for someone else which the obamas should have done. In the far future their pictire will be more of a joke then what it is now.
