Foggy and drizzly here, too. We're going out later to pick up supplies for the upcoming Variety Show. Then shopping for flip flops for the boys to take to Jamaica, and dinner to celebrate them earning their red belts.
Still on my telecon. Presented my committee results and pathforward earlier. hit it out of the park.I have totally disregarded the old man attitude of the organization and told them this is our path forward, screw you (didn't say screw you but thought it) immediately people were emailing me saying wow that is great, etc. :)

Good afternoon! Rained all night and started again around noon and looks like it will rain the rest of the day. Had a baby shower for my sweet daughter in law. Made finger sandwiches, pasta salad, veggies and fruit, plus cake. Also had a trail mix bar where everyone could make their own mix to take home. It was lovely but I'm exhausted and still have more to do.
Having a meal at church tomorrow night and I was thawing out two hams for the meal in my fridge in the garage and the fridge door didn't close so now the hams are ruined. It was warm to the touch so no way will serve that to people. I'll just have to buy some more.

Went to the Texas State Chili Cook-off,
and handed out over 150 flyers, inviting
all the teams to our cook-off in the
middle of March. Hope some of them
come.

It did except for a few issues like my coffee pot leaked everywhere and almost forgot to make the punch. It sounds like you had a lovely morning with your sweet granddaughter fwm. She sounds so precious!
It's 77 and windy. Looks like it's going to rain but hasn't yet.

So fun thing. While on my telecon and waiting for the other person to arrive, one of DD's friend;s mom posted she wasn't feeling well and wanted a smoothie. I took out some bananas and strawberries I had frozen and made her one. Dropped it off to her, had to go to the store anyway. Fun stuff for my friends.
