It's my day off but with how slow the Gov't does things I am expecting a contract to be awarded today, work starts tomorrow for a team so I will have to work a few hours so people can make travel arrangements.

Good morning! Rained most of the night and changed to snow about an hour or so ago. The winds are starting to whip pretty badly. I have to work the evening shift so I'm hoping this is all done by then.
Schools and government closed here due to high winds, but teleworkers like myself are required to work.

I had a teleconference with a group who's office is in arrundale. When they arrived at work metal roofing sheets were blowing off the building. They left. No safe way to make it from the car to the door.

Sounds like we are all enjoying high winds today. Well, not really enjoying. Enduring is a better word. Warm, sunny, beautiful, windy day here. Snow is melting like crazy. We have a small lake west of our house. I think the drainage culvert is still froze shut.
All the errands are done for this week. DH and I leave this evening. We have a fun weekend planned. Shopping is on my part of the list. He wants to go to Sheel's. Fishing season is coming up fast you know.
