I have the five year old DGS today. He has been so sick. Second day out of school for him. Hopefully, he can return to school tomorrow.
The weather is finally improving! The sun is shinning and there is a warm breeze. I want to start clearing the flower beds, but I'm not stupid. Snow coming for the late weekend. If we get lucky, it will come as rain. :) We had hail yesterday morning, then a dense fog. And it was barely above freezing. Today is so nice that it makes up for yesterdays crud.

DH, DS, and I went with some friends this past weekend. I loved how bawdy the workers and entertainers were. It was a refreshing change from the PC climate of today. The worker running the Jacob's Ladder game was awesome. I really loved the quips he made.

I haven't but there is one not far from me, maybe 40 miles, that runs for about 3 months end of summer/fall. I would love to go.

This past weekend was the first time we've gone. We're planning to go next year. We know for sure that I will need to rent the electric scooter. My walker was invaluable but my hip was in excruciating pain. DS zonked out towards the end of the day. He wanted to do the game where you threw an ax at a wall but the ax was too heavy for him. That worker suggested the throwing ninja stars game, which DS enjoyed.
Ugh. That was a disaster. He is as sick as can be. Probably slept an hour. He is in massive pain. Ran out to CVS, bought maxi pads. I could never be a nurse. Really just want to go cry.
