TOPIC: Family left devastated after they are kicked off their dream Disney cruise by an armed guard because 22-year-old mother-
One woman's dream of a Disney vacation was crushed when she was denied entry on a cruise because she was pregnant and was subsequently escorted off by a guard bearing an AR-15 rifle.
YouTuber Emily Jackson, 22, is a mother-of-two with a baby boy on the way.
Jackson, along with her husband, children, parents, and siblings flew from St. Louis to Miami to embark on a picture-perfect vacation.
The 10-member strong family even wore matching T-shirts that said 'Keep calm and enjoy your Disney vacation'.
However what ensued was the opposite of calm when. Disney cruise personnel refused Jackson entry on the cruise because she was 25 weeks pregnant, one week past policy limit.
I mean i do think you would want to at least ask the question before booking your trip? She did get a doctor's note though, so she was proactive in that way. At 22, I doubt i would have read all the fine print.
I do believe that if you are traveling while pregnant you should do research to see if there is some rule about risk of traveling while pregnant. Yes she had a doctors permission and may be in perfect health, but cruise ships are not equipped for premature births.
This is her 3rd kid. Not her first rodeo. Also she's a professional YouTuber, so maybe a bit of drama is good for her. Yeah armed security guards carry weapons. Doesn't mean they pointed them at her head. And, so should they just ignore their rules for her?
The vlogger took to her channel to share the horror that ensued.
Horror, devastation, distraught, etc. Yeah, it may be annoying, inconvenient, a pain, etc but come on. And, she didnt' purchase the tickets, fine. But WHO's responsibility is it to know if you can board as a pregnant woman?
A flock of flirting flamingos is pure, passionate, pink pandemonium-a frenetic flamingle-mangle-a discordant discotheque of delirious dancing, flamboyant feathers, and flamingo lingo.
Babies do come early due sudden health risk for the mother or baby. Cruise ships are not equipped for a nicu, and will have to have a helicopter fly in, so many risk. My 1st grandchild was born early.
I checked their website and yes it is listed that a woman who is 24 weeks will be refused and a doctors waiver will not be accepted.
