Has anyone here heard of these? Like mint or YNAB? They seem like they could really help me out with my budget but I have to input my bank info which makes me nervous. Everything I've read up on them swears they are legit and safe though.
Just wondering if anyone has used one.

Have you ever used a budget journal?
Write down every cent you spend and what you spend it on.
Same with what you make.
Keep a detailed record for a month, see if it helps.

They use your transaction information to find patterns and stuff in your spending, and help you create a budget around that.
I've tried doing it on paper so many times and I just poop out. I hate money management
It's collecting data.
Don't be surprised, if you do use one, you start getting all kinds of calls and "special offers".
Personally , I wouldn't trust it.

I'll tell you two things that help me with budgeting.
1. Everything goes the "can I live without it" filter. Everything.
2. For every dollar I spend, I put two dollars away for another day.
I know budgeting is a big PITA.
But in the long run, it's worth it.
