I'm so weary of May. There is teacher appreciation week, Jojo's birthday, Mother's Day, and at school, end of year award ceremonies, recitals, concerts, field day, and just so much to do!!!!
Ugg.
I hate May.

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.
May is busy for us as well. Mother's Day, anniversary, SIL's birthday, school testing, school concerts, field trips, etc. Ugh. Finished my podcast interview and work presentation so I'm taking a breather. For five minutes anyway.
Cheer up! May gets a whole lot better after everyone graduates!
And September becomes the best time to take a trip!

It's great going to the beach when school is back in.
Less people, less kids, less teenagers.
You can go to the hot tub and it isn't full of 15 year olds pretending they are in a music video, or 8 year olds because the water is bubbly.

I loved it when we had a four day weekend in October, but they have changed scheduling, and now the 4 day weekend in in early November, which still works for me! Florida, baby!
Just wait till the boys are on their own and it's just you and the hubs again.
You'll love the mostly kid free trips.

We had pancakes for dinner. With ham steaks and cooked to order eggs. Gosh, it was good.

LL, I kind of agree with you on the May thing. We have been swamped with the grand kids school year end activities. We did enjoy the awesome school musical on Monday night.
May is fun, but so tiring.
Vette, taco Tuesday was last night, lol. Love taco salad. :)
Hi everyone! I'm still alive. :)

A local Tex-Mex restaurant has the
absolute BEST chicken fajita taco salad.
Puffy flour tortilla fried into the shape,
filled with chicken fajita strips, grilled
onions, bell peppers, avocado, shredded
lettuce, tomato, sour cream, fastened to
the plate with a dollop of refried beans.
We had taco salad, well, DH did, I had regular salad because I don't really like taco salad.
And SS had regular tacos because he doesn't like salad. Sooo... I guess I made a false statement lol
So what you're saying is, there were tacos and salads in your kitchen.

Lindly ~
It is, and I'm not a fan of Tex-Mex
foods. The fried flour tortilla isn't
good for my diabetes, but I only
get it about once every two or
three weeks.
