A flock of flirting flamingos is pure, passionate, pink pandemonium-a frenetic flamingle-mangle-a discordant discotheque of delirious dancing, flamboyant feathers, and flamingo lingo.
Just got my hair cut - REALLY short!
Short enough so that all the curl
smooths out. I splurged and had
her blow dry and style it with a
curling iron, because I will be
presenting our Association's annual
scholarship, and I want to look my
best. I love how she cuts my hair;
I can always take care of it afterwards.
Good afternoon! I'm glad you like your haircut momala, I bet it looks real nice on you. Hope the rains hold off for awhile fs, fnw and trudy and happy early birthday too!
Worked all morning in my yard pulling weeds and still not done, but I got to hot and hungry so had to quit. I'll finish this weekend. My husband comes home tonight yay!
What a freaking busy day at work. I arrive at 7. By 4 I was done with the PA and over the top requests. Do they Think I am super CAM? So I left. Got home and booted up and responded to a few more things. You know what pisses me off the most? When someone says 1/2 hour before I am due to come home they tell me that they need this and that before I leave especially when I can't give them that because THEY HAVEN'T given the the data they were supposed to LAST WEEK!

Just got back from a LONG but very, very
satisfying evening. I got to present our
Community Association's annual scholarship.
It typically goes to the graduating Queen of
our Old Town Day celebration. This year, our
Queen was a young lady with Down Syndrom,
but that didn't stop her from fulfilling all her
duties.
She made Valentine's baskets, Thanksgiving
"turkeys" (out of cookies), and distributed
goodies to the area nursing homes just before
Christmas. She was an especially big hit at
the VA nursing home, partly because of all
the hugs she gave our veterans.
When I caller her name to receive her award,
the entire student body present (about 100)
gave her a loud and continuous roar of
approval! I was so proud of her! And when
other students were awarded their scholarships,
she went up and gave them a hug! And the
hugs were returned. Very proud of her and
of the rest of the student body!
