Just took the dog on a walk, our regular route.  Had to turn around 3/4 of the way.  I strange looking animal ran out, tail like a fox but a bit taller than one.  No collar.  I quickly walked the other way.

Got home, coyote in the back woods.  Just a reminder for me to be diligent.

We are supposed to have some coyote in this area. I've never seen one. Our biggest worry is alligators.

We have coyote come through.

And bears.

And last week a couple cyclists were attacked by a mountain lion.

Aligator has been spotted in some of our rivers, too.

It's going to happen more and more.

Had a panther walk across our yard when we first moved into our home and occasionally bobcats, mostly deer, coyotes if their is a huge rabbit population. Some people has seen bears near us.

When my son lived in Florida  it was nothing  to see one walk across  his yard.

We are in the migration path of a herd of deer and a flock of wild turkeys.

The wild turkeys are the most vicious of all the animals that come through here.

When I lived in Cali it was rattlesnakes, coyote, black bear, deer, possums, mountain lions, and pea****s. The last two were the meanest. Even when we visit Nemacolin where they have a caged mountain lion, when you walk past its cage he snarls at you. Nasty.

Here we have deer, foxes, snakes & small critters, and some bear sightings. The deer are the biggest problem.

We have wild hogs wandering through
our watermelon patches. So far, they
haven't eaten too many of the melons,
but as they ripen, the melons become
more attractive to them. All our hard
work, eaten by pigs !
