ETA: So I'm confused. In a CBS article I found online it says housekeeping found her around 10:20 this morning but it also said the husband was in the apartment.
The officials said housekeeping staff found Spade inside her Park Avenue apartment in Manhattan at about 10:20 a.m. They said she left a note at the scene but the contents of the note were not divulged. She had apparently hanged herself with a scarf attached to a door knob. Her husband and business partner Andy Spade was in the apartment at the time, police said at an afternoon news conference
Even though I’m sorry for her, I feel even more sorry for her daughter, she lost her mother and now possibly instead of being able to turn to her dad for comfort, but will be angry with him.
