I got up and watched Then Tennis. It was a good match. I'm sad for Sloane, but happy for Halep.

And the ponies run later. Maybe will have a triple crown winner!

Have a fun day, everyone!

Loving Phoenix. Relaxing. Dad is coming for the afternoon and then off to dinner with his wife and two of her kids. That should be interesting. Insert sarcastic emoticon.

I am still on east coast time so it's going to be a long day. Tomorrow hanging poolside with my peeps and then hitting some speakeasies.

I watched the match too. Sad for Sloane but it was a decent match.

IKWTDS, sounds like things are going well so far. Enjoy!

Not much going on for me. Haven't accomplished a damn thing yet thanks to getting caught up in the French Open. lol That's my excuse anyway.

Have a great day!

hmmso what could I possibly be allergic to here? I was sitting outside for about an hour and started sneezing and my eyes are watering. This is annoying.

Dust? We have an abundance of that.

Do you have any known environmental allergies? My allergies act up when the trees and such start blooming.

I do have allergies just thought I would be allergy free here since my body is unfamiliar with the region's pollen.

May just be a reaction to all the dust and dryness. I love it here but my asthma and allergies don't.

We had an awesome time. First Dad came to the hotel and we chatted in my room for an hour or so.  He told me some of the stuff he was going through with his cancer and the treatment, not an easy conversation for him as a parent, but easy for me as and adult child. I already knew. Then we went to his townhouse. What a beautiful adobe styled place and filled every inch with antiques and art by his wife. Went out to an amazing restaurant with Dae, Babs, two of her kids, her DD's BF.  So Chaotic and so much fun. I had the restaurant bring a dessert sampler with a bday candle for Dad.  He was just so happy.

So, I guess my sister's judgmental attitudes colored my opinion of Dad and his wife and her kids.  She, yeah is not the greatest, but her kids are great.  We had a great time, is was like one of those wonderful chaotic loud Holiday meals we all have with our families.  And then they all drove me back to the hotel.  Must remember to not take to heart Sis' opinion of anything!

I just cannot say how happy Dad was.  Here are a couple of pics.  Excuse the eyes in the group pic we all look like devils!

Great pictures.

I got stung by a yellow jacket today when I stirred up a nest I didn't know was there.

That was 10 hours ago, and it still hurts.
