OK my wonderful Peeps.  Please put your thinking caps on.

Neighbor lost EVERYTHING in yesterday's fire.

What have I missed in a list of what he needs?

Shoes, underwear, shirts, pants, razor & shave cream, socks.

He'll be staying with our neighbor, so no furniture is needed right now.

Books sneakers, his own coffee mug, pillows, gift cards.

Toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, comb, shampoo.

It's so nice of you to help him, Momala.

The only thing that popped into my mind after reading everyone's posts was a nail clipper. I would hate to use someone else's.

He's coming out of the hospital, right?

He may have specific needs.

Will he have mobility issues?

Does he take regular medication that may have been lost in the fire?

And someone needs to think about a new dog for him.

Luggage, duffel bags, containers to store everything in case he needs to move again.

Charger for phone, tablet

something to pass the time - crossword puzzles, books, magazines

does he have any pets that survived? food, toys

I like this, maybe a Walmart gift card to possibly replace any meds that was lost

All three of his furbabies perished, so I
don't think he'll start looking for another
pet any time soon. He's already talking
with his cardiologist to replace all his
meds. There are no mobility issues, so
he is good in that area.

A friend of his is going to bring down
another travel trailer, put it up for him,
and haul away the skeleton of the old
trailer.

Thanks for all the ideas/suggestions.
They are really helpful.

Hugs to all of you.

I already have a neighbor signed up for
sheets, blankets, pillows, towels, and
shower curtain.

I'm going to be the "point" person to
coordinate, so he doesn't have to deal
with duplicates.

It's going to be like throwing his a
shower!

Sounds to me like you all have it pretty well covered. I cannot think of anything you might have missed. I agree that this is just great, Momala, for you to take over this responsibility.

We're in the middle of this, too, Momala. The one man we are providing for seems a whole lot easier than the girls!

Shoes. People need more than one pair of shoes.
A belt.
A ball cap - it's summer.
Snacks - something homey.
Plain white undershirts.
Face wash.
