It's cool and breezy here. I'll take it! I have a couple more green giant trees to plant. Well, DH will plant them. It's good weather for yardwork.
Tomorrow I'll be driving an hour or more to a funeral. My friend lost her husband. He hadn't been doing well, and had a seizure followed by a heart attack. I haven't seen him in quite a few years, although I saw my friend a few months ago. Tomorrow should be a bit of a reunion with my former co-workers and WV "family." Bittersweet.
A flock of flirting flamingos is pure, passionate, pink pandemonium-a frenetic flamingle-mangle-a discordant discotheque of delirious dancing, flamboyant feathers, and flamingo lingo.
Had rain on Wednesday (minimal, just
enough to keep the dust down), and on
Thursday (torrential), and on Friday
(also torrential), and again today, just
enough to make the roads slippery.
But we're SOOOO happy to have ANY
rain. I'm thinking of hiring a neighbor
youngster to mow the yard. He could
use a couple of bucks, and I sure
could use the help. The rain will make
the brown lawn green up again in a
day or two.
It's been a lovely day weather-wise with cooler temps, after yesterday's rain, low humidity and a nice breeze. The temp last evening got to the mid 50s. lol
Other than that, it's been two days of hell work-wise. Long story and will hope to get to the bottom of it all come Monday.
