Somewhat busy today. Blew all the dirt and leaves out of the garage this a.m. That was a long over due chore. Puttering. DD weeded the big garden than went swimming at the neighbors. Water must have been at least 90!

Vette, I'm collecting things to make my own fountain for next spring. I bet you could make one easy. I'm looking for a really big pot for the pond part, and something cool for the fountain. You can get pumps just about anywhere!

Went to the factory stores for new work shoes. It's tax free weekend. OMG. Anywho got in and out real fast. It was madness. Then, we went to Sam's club. It was heavenly, no one was there.

Ciao! It's 87* with a real feel of 95*. I really wish they would've fixed my AC the other day when he was here but he got called away on an emergency job and won't be back until tomorrow afternoon. UGH! These fans just are NOT cutting it today. It doesn't look like there will be any pop-up showers or storms to break this. Sleeping tonight is going to be a b!tch.
Got the dishes done, the place straightened up, dusted, bathroom cleaned, three loads of laundry done. Made lamb chops for dinner and am settling in. There is absolutely nothing on the boob tube to watch. I'm really struggling to find something I haven't already seen. lol I need to get me some good books to get lost in.
We're back from our trip out West. It was fun, but a long trip. We're all glad to be home.
I hope you don't have to go to work tomorrow. I really hate taking a long trip and then having to go back to work the next day. Did you get caught in all that Yosemite nightmare?

Be sure to put down towels.
It'll cool a room pretty good.

We're back from our trip out West. It was fun, but a long trip. We're all glad to be home.

No, but there was a ground fire in the Grand Canyon that I could see as well which made me a little nervous. Flags were flown at half mast because of the firefighter who lost his life in Yosemite.
