Not as great a day as yesterday, but I'm happy with it.
Man, I need a nap.

I put a sign on a power pole at a busy intersection on Friday.
I went back to get it this afternoon, and another person had taken it down and replaced it with theirs.
They had to do it Friday night or Saturday morning because their yardsale was the same day as mine.
Can you believe that?
I almost wanted to take them their sign.
Introduce myself and ask for mine back.

Yard sales are a lot of work. I admire people who like to do them and are good at it! And, you can make some nice $$. For me, i just never was organized enough to do that.

I have lots of stuff to sell but don't have the tolerance or time to do so.

Me too. I usually just load it up and drop it at Goodwill.

That's how I am with it. I sure could use the extra money from selling the stuff but . . . I usually end up donating it to the women's shelter or Good will.
We did well yesterday, Saturday's are always better, than today, but we made enough to cover gas, food, and have a little spending money for 3 people, for 5 days.
So, that's cool.
Caitlyn and I are talking about another one after our trip.
And talking about our next trip.
Myrtle Beach this year.
New Orleans next year.

I have never held a yard sale. The neighborhood is doing one where signs are put out and you can put a table out and wait or bring stuff to end of the cul de sac tables if you want. I might do that. We'll see. And by "I", I mean I'll send DH with the stuff. LOL
It's a lot of work, of course, but it's still fun.
And you can make some good money.
We've decided to do it again for the next 2 Saturdays
Or all the stuff is gone.
