I just read there was a horrible typhoon that hit Japan...albeit a couple weeks ago, but I do not recall hearing from you. Let us know you're okay and what things are like over there!
Oh, we are fine and looking forward to the next typhoon that will hit us this Saturday and Sunday. This year they just keep on coming. Had a horrid, hot summer but now we are suddenly having cold rain and needed blankets last night and heat this a.m. From what I see on the internet the entire world is having a lot of strange and fierce weather... Wonder what the winter will bring.....

The earthquake (latest) was in Hokkaido and it will take quite a while for them to recover.
On another note, this last "Respect for the Aged" day, the government informed us that there are 10,000 plus people over 100 living in Japan. The oldest is a woman of 115. Most of the 10,000 plus are women. Guess they are just stronger than men or have had to work harder and thus are tougher...
