I will miss him, but I don't blame him. I'm so glad he didn't just say I quit but is leaving us with what looks like a beautiful album and leaves with style. He really does appreciate his fans. I'm so so glad that his absolutely adorable son is cancer free!
He might change his mind when he runs out of money.
And that is fine. He needs time to love his son and play with him right now.
I agree, time with family is precious and I'm sure he will receive royalties and he could still get a job possibly in his field behind the scenes where he doesn't have to travel, or a regular job.
I don't disagree. He needs to do what he needs to do. It is nice that he is prioritizing. And hopefully he will continue to receive royalties for quite a time. Because he also needs to support his family financially. I suspect that they will be just fine for awhile.
I think the article said something about him not wanting to be in the spotlight for now. So I agree with Lindley, maybe he can work behind the scenes, such as producing, where he won't be out in the public eye.
