They get overheated between wearing their gown and mask. Usually they skip breakfast because they are nervous. Plus the stress of being in the OR for the first time. It all adds up to someone fainting. One year we had 3 go down at the same time. Different rooms. It was a circus!

It was a perfect fall weekend...after my nap yesterday, I looked out the window and saw that everyone in my cul-de-sac has fall décor. So G and I went and got a bunch of stuff and now my porch looks so pretty!!!!
And DD, in a round about way, asked if I would watch the kids this weekend. WHAT?!?!?! She says she hates to ask me, I told her she doesn't even HAVE to ask. Just call and tell me they are on the way!
Our cabin is booked for Thanksgiving AND Christmas! WOO-HOO! I'm glad people are wanting to go there. For the Christmas people, I think I'm going to put up a little 6 foot tree. I know I would like something like that.
We had and inquiry for New Years, but I squashed that. I need MY time there too, so we are gonna spend New Years there...

It's been cold here for three days continuously. When I say cold, 20's overnight and 30-40 during the day and the past two days we had strong winds making it feel colder. While I am used to temps like this, the first one's hit hard until I move into my winter mode. Brrrrr. I even had to break out the winter boots yesterday.
I need NYE plans. I need to look at the calendar and see if DD is home, if so, I will let her have a party.

SB, you're the resident doctor. I developed a bad cough and store throat last night, i thought it was just the start of a cold but now it's a very painful cough and burning in my chest.
