morning all. Another crazy day here, seems to be the norm. But I’m loving it.
Little chilly here, but it’s supposed to be, so ok with it. Have to stay late at work tonight to babsit the carpet cleaners, at least I’ll be getting paid. Need to finish up costumes. I’m running out of time!
The rain started here today. Just a little misting, but still rain. When this happens it means that we are in for another 7 months of rain. It's the west coast, so minimal rain at sea level where I am.
Hopefully the snow stays minimum because when that happens the city is un-travelable. Busses stuck, cars can't pass, pedestrians can't travel the distances that would be required... My work is up a hill from the flat part of the city. Walking it could be a problem, but worse for busses.
I'm so sick I called in the last two days from work. I haven't called in sick for a couple of years at least. I dragged myself in today but it's probably a mistake, I'm all coughy and snotty still, I'm sure my coworkers appreciate it.
And they must be punishing me for calling in because I came in this morning to sh!t jobs to do.
