finished clearing the driveway so it should be good when DS gets here and went grocery shopping. DD is cleaning the main bath and then will do the front steps and walkway. Blech early snow.

Dropped my Asus notebook on the ground on the bus. No serious structural damage, but there is a gel-screen blank spot in the top corner where the impact was :(

Early snow, is the pits! I can remember going trick or treating, with a winter coat over my costume. They joys of growing up in Ohio.
My Mom just texted me.
She's having a chair lift installed on Monday.
As healthy as she is, she's not as mobile as she used to be.
Her Doc wrote her a script, so she won't have to pay the tax.
It will save her a couple hundred bucks. So, she's happy about that.
Mom won't leave that house. We'll carry her out, feet first.
Good for Mom for being a forward thinker, Just like my mom was.

She has a lawn service. She has a handy man, who takes care of all the things that she can't do anymore. He even shovels the driveway! And, if the roads are bad, He's driving Miss Daisy/Irene.)
She finally hired a gal from her church, to come and do the heavy cleaning, once a month. (Floors, bathrooms, etc.)
She still cooks, bakes, cleans everyday messes.
And, she still drives, as long as the weather is good.

When she talked to her doctor, about the stair lift, he told her to go for it.
Don't go to assisted living. You have your mind. You don't need to be there. Do what you need to do, to stay in your home.
Mom is doing what she needs to do, to stay in her home.

day after he fell trying to bring
groceries into the house. Your
Mom will love the convenience.
I could unload a full week's
groceries onto the chair, and
let it climb to the top, with no
effort on my part
Shoot! Some days I want a chairlift to get from one end of the hall to the other!
