Cold, dreary and raining here today. The weekend is looking awful.
Packing up for my trip up north. This is the sister's Christmas cookie baking weekend. I'm staying with mom, thankfully. We get to sleep in, lol. The others are up at 4:30 every morning and mom and I can't do that. Let them work a few hours before we meander in.
I'm heading north in the morning. By the looks of the weather, I may be stuck up there awhile.

Their dirty hands took things from all over North Georgia and Eastern Tennessee.
Crossing the state line is going to up the charges.

A local restaurant burned down not too long ago. It had been closed down for some time, and DH & I wondered if was arson. Yep, but not by the obvious suspects. Two "kids", one 13 and one 14 are suspected, who had engaged in a crime spree consisting of vandalism, theft, and now arson if proven.
I don't have any clients until late afternoon, so I've wasted this entire day. Could have cleaned, could have grocery shopped.... napped and puppy cuddled instead.
And worked on a crochet project for one of my nieces. Each of them will get a little crochet bag or sachet or whatever with their stocking stuff inside. I think I'm going to run out of wool for this one though. I'll have to find something of similar weight and texture in my collection and design my own 'pattern'.

If we do, it's gone by noon, next day at the most.
We get it so rarely, our county's winter weather plans are to just not have snow.
So when we do get it, we are royally screwed.

Please point your fridge away from Canada. We are surviving this winter quite well so far. No ice storms, no ice bombs, no hockey games between cars on the ice that caused a major car accident and you're stuck there for hours (all Canadians travel with hockey equipment. Just in case. It's mandatory :P ).
Everyone up here is keeping their fridges cold. AND, we are having a gas shortage due to the fires and explosions earlier this season so nobody is opening their fridge anyways. We're in conservation mode and not supposed to use too much heat. We sure don't need your fridge too!
