Why do all the wonderful goodies
at this time of year have so dang
much sugar in them? ? Instead of
a cookie exchange, why can't we
have a veggie exchange? Oh
well.
Grrr, Today is about organizing. One thing was to pull the documents together that I need to renew my license to the type that can be used for ID at the airports. I cannot find my SS card anywhere! No way can I get a new one by tomorrow.
I've paid the bills, made a list of a few last gift items I need. Off to the showers then out shopping. Won't take long

Monster is getting a good brushing today, he's leaving little fuzz balls everywhere, so vacuuming is in my future.
Thankfully I don't have to worry about my license for 8 years.
Have a good one, ya'll.

OMGosh! My license! It expires the end of this month!
Mine expires in 4 days, two days of which are the weekend. Aren't you glad I went into panic mode and posted about it? At least you have a little more than a week. Merry Christmas!

#2 is home today throwing up. At first I thought he over indulged at last night's Christmas party at church, but it appears his teacher's daughter has it as well. They sat at each other's table yesterday during FLE. Now I have to brace for that to go through the house.

Quarantine him. Lysol everything in the house. Keep sanitizer buy his door.
Good luck!

It's not Christmas unless at least one kid is sick!

True! DH stayed home with him this morning so I could run to the dentist then to my office for our party. Now I'm home with him and I'm airing the house out.

Yes, thank you! But I'm not on vacation any of those business days!

I really feel for you and hope it ends with #2, I came home to a sick husband yesterda, he had be sick to his stomach all day. I thought I was going to have to take him to the hospital. I hope #2 is feeling bette, no fun sick, but worse over Christma.
Then mom decided she wanted to finish her Christmas shopping, so off we went to town.
Grabbed burgers with the family, then Aaron and I stopped to pick up a few things for Christmas goodies for our Christmas party.
Tomorrow will be finishing up odds and ends.
Friday is goodie making/baking day.
Saturday is party day.
Sunday, I'm going to church and then nothing else.
Monday will be crazy with people in and out all day.
Tuesday is Christmas, another day of all day visitors.
Wednesday, I might not leave my bedroom!

Trudy ~
I hope your dentist didn't charge you
for having to cancel your appointment.
Thursday - putting up the tree plus the
outside lights (if it doesn't rain).
Friday - cleaning and baking
Saturday - last minute shopping for
unexpected reciprocal gifts.
Sunday - 8:00 am - pick up 30 beautiful
poinsettia plants, drive 87 miles to
church; put them around the altar after
the 11:00 service.
Monday - Cleaning, and then DH's family
party - he's the last of his generation, so
it is important that he attend. Then 87
miles to Church for Christmas service at
5:30. Our Bell Choir will ring (I play E flat,
E, F, and F sharp), so I have to be on my
toes !
Christmas morning: My Mother used to
always make broiled grapefruit halves
with a spritz of brandy, which she flamed
once it was at the table. I want to try
this for DH, using oranges instead,
In the afternoon, I'll make a Prime Rib
Roast. I have a wonderful recipe that
makes it juicy without overcooking it.
Haven't decided what veggies to do
with it - most of the veggies I like, DH
turns his nose up at, :frown:
