A few drops of rain this morning (enought that I didn't need an umbrella desperately but would have preferred to have one) and the dog quit his walk not even a quarter of the way through.
I, on the other had, have to head into the city today (I found a new route that cuts me from 3hr round trip to 2hr40m Yayyy!!) because I have a haircut appointment! I'm also, for the first time in my life, really, am having colour done. My hair has gone dull and I've lost my natural colour tones. I always figured I would be fine going grey (which I am) but I'm not fine with this mousy crap colour.

Slow day today. I discovered a hole in a process so now a team has to back 6 months to fix mistakes. Which also means I won't be getting reports I need anytime soon to do my job.

Trudy, maybe we need to add Vitamin D to our regiment. I forgot to get more, so I'm feeling it. Blah..
Get out there is the sunshine, no vitamin is a better supplement for the real thing!
Sadly, my skin no longer manufactures Vit D as it should. I was diagnosed almost 2 years ago with the condition. And it was summer time! I spend a lot of time outdoors anyway. A supplement isn't so bad when it keeps you happy.

Faith isn't something that keeps bad things from happening. Faith is what helps us get through bad things when they do happen.
So somewhat of a scary night. DD comes down and asks an odd question " has school been canceled for tomorrow" Um no. and then says she wants me to cancel her early morning dentist app't. I put 2 and 2 together and called the PD. There was a social media threat in a neighboring town, school name was similar to DD;s. I had a sit down with her since she obviously doesn't "get" that some of these threats could be real and to not think its fun to be in lock down. :facepalm:. We are good. Even the Principal called me since he learned I told the PD it was also on FB which he was not aware of. Geesh.

Sketchy clinic director just asked for some of my paperwork regarding my sole proprietorship. She has no right to any of my documents other than a copy of my business license. When I asked what it would be used for she very quickly went from text to phone. And suddenly didn’t need it.
