Met with #1's teacher and counselor. He seems to be doing much better now. Whew. Getting ready to return to my doctor for BP follow up. Resting a bit to make sure it's down. LOL
2 hour early dismissal due to anticipated weather. 1-3 inches expected.
Low 30s today. No snow in sight. Just enough frost to freeze Z's toes when we're out for our walk. Headed into the city this morning for round 2 of breathing tests. Yippee. On the bus at 7am.
We are going to be below freezing for a couple days, but that's it.
Bonus! We got beautiful sunshine!

It was 1 above at noon. Wind is blowing, so figure somewhere in the vicinity of -25 wind chill. Even the dog pees as fast as he can and then scrambles back in as fast as his fat body will let him. lol
Late start for area schools tomorrow due to the sever sub-zero temps expected in the morning. -50 wind chill will kill quickly.
Stay safe and warm folks.
My sister and mom in Minnesota are expecting a high of -18 tomorrow so I can't whine about our -13 in the morning.
I have seen worse...

Wondering if it could be rented out for the weekend.
Sleeps 6, has a full bath, and kitchen.
Think a Super bowler would want to stay in it?
How funny would that be?

We have the snow! Glad most of you missed it. It was a dusting when I got up at 4:30 this morning. It spit snow off and on most of the morning. Then, around 1'ish, it started coming down at a good clip. Still snowing. It looks like it's in slow motion. We currently have about three inches. It sure is beautiful. All the trees are hanging on to the snow. The pines look cool. Haven't heard any plows going through. But, with the Wrangler, I had no trouble getting to work or home and thankfully I don't have to be back there until 10 tomorrow morning. Unfortunately, we're headed for the deep freeze at temps plummet tonight.
Dinner tonight will be leftover chicken/gravy over waffles. Comfort food! Mmmm

It's been spitting all day. Supposed to really get going in about an hour or so. The gloves I wear to snow blow and such are old and not keeping my fingers warm. In fact the last two storms my hands were freezing. I bought new ones on line from LL Bean and they arrived today. I am all set!
