Two hour delay for schools here. They claim they are afraid buses won't start. Really? This happens every year. Install engine heat stations like they do in other cold states.
We are having a heat wave, 12 degrees here. Fighting a cold and really tired today. Moved some furniture back into place last night. Babysitting today.
Schools are closed here. Slept in and got up around 8:30. Temp then was -7 with a real feel of -10. The sun is out though so it looks nice out there. lol I heard we're supposed to get near 50 next week. Crazy weather.
Not too bad here. About 45F today. And that's at 8am Our predicted high is about 50F.
Headed in to work this morning. No snow days here. Ever. I think last year we had one. It wasn't cold, it was just stupid. The busses couldn't run because they were all stuck, so everyone was trapped (nobody drives in the downtown cores anyways).
Still waiting on test results and experimenting will all kinds of prescriptions until then. "Here ... try this ... no? Try this ... oh, and this ...."
43, real feel of 54. All the sun a body can stand.
I even have a window open a bit.
49 days til SPRING!

Have a 30 day heart monitor starting today. It's going to be interesting trying to find a sleeping position that allows it to maintain sufficient contact. I took a nap earlier and the phone thingy alerted me that the device wasn't sufficiently connected to my skin.
Chef, when DS had to wear a heart monitor for a month, yup, duct tape. And it was still difficult to keep the darn attachments attached. The school absolutely hated that monitor.
Good luck.

Faith isn't something that keeps bad things from happening. Faith is what helps us get through bad things when they do happen.
I don't know if the cardiologist would appreciate duct tape (or anything sticky) being used but that would certainly keep it immobile :D
The sticky pads are staying put, which makes it seem like it should be maintaining connectivity. It's a wireless monitor. I've been wedging a washcloth between the side of heart monitor and the girls when I lay down and that seems to keep it positioned well enough to keep the smartphone from alerting me that it's not connected.
DH has christened me robo-wifey. DS is lucky I'm not the self-conscious sort. He spotted the monitor when I picked him up from preschool yesterday. Pointed and loudly announced "I SEE IT!"
