 ???  Sorry, but your comments are not making sense.  Smollet LIED.  It's really clear he lied.  Even the prosecutors in the office that dropped the charges said he lied.  And it IS about race because Smollet made it about race - he claimed he was beat up as a hate crime.

So what do white men in jail for fraud have to do with this?  And by the way - they are in JAIL.  Where Smollet should be but isn't because someone arranged for him to not face justice.

Lily is claiming that the charges were dropped because he is a black gay man and that they wouldn't have been dropped if he was white.  I'm pointing out that charges against white men are treated just the same as black.  The idea that the charges were dropped because of race is just fearmongering.

You certainly can't say that isn't the case.  You are actually suggesting that if things were reversed, if a white celebrity lied about a hate crime, claimed he was attacked for being white and straight by two black liberals, that the  charges would have been dropped?  Did they make pot legal up there in Canada?  Because you must be smoking a lot.
