Got to hear and see the baby's heartbeat today.

Lil' pumpkin is strong and healthy.

Mom, too, only she has elevated thyroid levels, so the doctor is starting her on a med for that.

It's warm out, too.

And the van's ac isn't working right.

Gonna take it this weekend to a guy to get that fixed.

Happy Thursday.

Dealing with all the pre-funeral drama. Ugh!

Sorry Trudy, funeral arrangements are difficult enough without strife, hopefully all can come to a common agreement.

So exciting lily!

I'm so sorry that you have to deal with this, Trudy :( What a pain. Pre-funeral drama must be absolutely exhausing. We avoided that when my grandmother passed. My aunties and I cleaned out her apartment and my mom went to Europe.

Have a referral to a specialist for my breathing stuff. Sounds like restrictive airway lung disease is a potential. This is basically scarring from asthma or other environmental factors. It will be interesting to see what happens when I move. Dust, mold, etc., can be triggers. I live in a crappy old building. It would be nice if it was just asthma (although the scarring from it could also be a problem) but the last major attack was 2 months ago. It should be better by now. No wheezing, but trouble getting enough air into my lungs.]

Hopefully someone can figure out what is going on. I like this new doctor she is on it, and if she's stuck she refers to a specialist. Unfortunatley this leaves me rather regularly short of breath which causes a ridiculous amount of yawning.

So sorry to hear this, Tig. Hope your new doctor can help you soon!

Trudy, sorry about all the pre-funeral drama. Sending hugs your way.

Lily, so glad you got to hear the baby's heartbeat! It is an amazing sound.

Hi, Lindley!

Cold and wet here today. Had a friend stop by to borrow DH's metal detector so they can find a culvert, dig it out and let the water drain. Yeah, the mud needed rehydration I guess...so it rained all day yesterday and last night.

The rhubarb is UP!!

Seems like funerals can bright out both the best and worst in people. Hope things go as smoothly as they can, Trudy.

Got my stitches out yesterday and then the doctor slapped on some kind of flesh colored paper which I discovered is a bandage that eventually just disappears. What next? Anyway that experience is almost over except for the bruising.

Trudy just rip the bandaid off from the funeral stuff / plans and just do it. Any family member that wants to add costs tell them that is ok but they have pay. Money is a driver for peeps decisions.

Glad your stitches are out Karl.

Great about the heartbeat, Lily.

Sigh, was just rearranging office furniture and fell. Another bruise. No issue, no bleeding.

Ikwtd, I hear you. It is a mystery what makes us stumble and/or fall. When you look back at the scene, no bump, ridge, etc. at all. Guess we just do not pick up our feet like we used to. (I can still hear my mother saying: pick up your feet, don't shuffle along do you know what shoes cost? LOL)
Glad you only got a bruise - only?? they can hurt like heck and take forever to disappear. Take care
