Golf type collared shirts with school emblem and khaki style shorts or pants. Black athletic shoes or dress shoes, belts, socks. Gym clothes on gym days, but uniform gym clothes. Lands End sells them. They can wear whatever jackets and coats they want outside, but remove inside.
Cleaning out is a huge task. So many emotions. It's no wonder even the closest of families struggle through it.
My uncle, he lived with mawmaw, has been slowly cleaning out. Mawmaw didn't get rid of a thing after pawpaw died, so uncle is dealing with both. He tries to take a bag off a week.
Middle school here is 6th - 8th grade. I think those three years are the hardest for kids. So many changes, hormones and such.

At least one of the circuit breakers got
fried by a lightening strike. I'll have to
look into it tomorrow. I've got two big
candles going in the hallway and the
kitchen. tThe securith lights outside
are still on, so we should be ok until
tomorrow morning. At least both the
fridge and freezer are full, so we are
not looking for any problems there.

Texas weather is crazy. I think we are better at predicting it, than the weather folks, on the news.
(If things get bad, my cats get nervous. They want to go into the hall closet, under the stairs. When they do that, I know it's time to be afraid.)
Jupiter, the dog, will sleep through anything. Thunder, rain, hail, no problem. Jupie will saw logs, through it all!

I think that's the one thing I've always been afraid of, a major storm, tornado or something, and not having my shoes on so I don't cut my feet all to pieces on anything broken.

Stay safe momala, I forgot how much drama there is at little girl sleepovers, two fights and constantly finding some scary noises to keep me and other leader from sleeping. I felt bad because they were really looking forward to sitting in the hot tub and sitting by the fire pit and roasting marshmallows for s’mores and it got rained out.
