Mom and dad are about to leave and head to the hospital, I'll follow shortly.

Please keep her and her doctors and nurses in your prayers.

Heading to a high of 92, but the humidity is still low.

Happy Wednesday.

Good afternoon ! Hope everything goes well lily, hello fnw, Ikwtd, and trudy. Having a Facebook fight with someone comparing a unborn child to a tadpole. Her theory is since a tadpole isn't a frog yet neither a baby is a baby till it is born. I keep asking her if the tadpoles are alive and she won't answer me. She just keeps telling me to check my 3rd grade biology notes.

Can we just talk about the crazy assistant? Ugh. Screaming, fighting with the ex. Out of control. GG is begging me to fire her. I want too. She is now in my brothers office crying. I want to walk out.

New phone is awesome!

If she is still in contact with him and Don't have a child in common she is the one who is crazy for not cutting off contact.

A tadpole isn't a frog for the same reason a fetus isn't a baby ... neither has grown into the other yet. But, a tadpole is still a frog. It's not a shoe, dog, amoeba, horse, or anything else. Same with a human fetus. A human fetus is a human. Tadpole and fetus are life stages. Oversimplified but when you're dealing with someone who doesn't understand the basics of how stuff works ...

My FB is littered with many like her. What do these people suppose a human fetus is? A car? A sheep? Oh, I know! It's a HOUSE! No. It's a baby. It just happens to be in the fetal stage.

4 boys with him.  Giving zero for child support.  She works part time.  Zero alimony.  My brother said make a spread sheet.  He hasn't given anything since October.  We are talking school trips right now, spree days, new clothes, shoes, school lunch money, etc.  She isn't wrong.  It is just crazyville.

I said take hime to court.

She actually  works  at a university  and using  a   tadpole  as a example  was ludicrous, she never  would  answer  whether  a tadpole  was alive or not. I wouldn't  kill a tadpole  intentionally  because  it's a live creature.  I guess  she thought  it was clever.

Trudy, I know  your  coworker  drives you crazy, but it's sounds  like  she is going  through  issues  and needs some counseling  and legal advice.

I'm back home, mom will most likely stay overnight.

I'm exhausted and, of course, hurting, but I'll bee fine after a good night's rest and some Tylenol.

Mom, on the other hand, is doing well, but after they got her in the room she began having some bad side effects to the anesthesia.

Shaking uncontrollably, and that caused her to tense up, which caused cramps and her blood pressure to run up.

When I left the valium (sp?) had kicked in, and put her out.

Now it seems she may need a hip replacement as well.

Thankfully she was resting fairly well when I left.

Thank you for the prayers and thoughts.

Good to hear Lily, good she is staying overnight with care.

Trudy in Mass one hauls that deadbeat to court and they will lock him up and / or suspend any drivers or professional license.

Isn't a tadpole actually born (hatched?) ? Swimming around and all? Wouldn't that be like infant vs toddler?

I had the same reaction after my c-section.  I flopped around like a fish out of water.  And I felt cold.  They threw warm blankets on me which felt so good.

She won't answer because she can't without killing her argument.

That, too. I looked up the life cycle of a frog. It goes: egg - tadpole - tadpole with legs - young frog - adult frog. So, my question to her would be if that tadpole is still a tadpole when it's in the egg? Or does it being in the egg make it magically something else?

I wish I also brought  up DNA, since that is what determines what we are. Oh well, I very  rarely  engage  in arguments on Facebook.  It was just so silly.

Happy that the surgery went well for your mom lily and I hope you both get a good nights sleep tonight. Several tornadoes touched down north of where I live and possibly storms coming through tonight here. DS and family are staying the night here just in case.

Accepted delivery of 150 watermelons at
the stand this evening. Fortunately, they
had been given instructions to stack all
the melons on our tables, rather than
just put them on the (carpeted) ground.

The delivery truck was just starting out
of the yard, when a big dually pulled in
and bought two melons! And we hadn't
even officially opened yet!

Yee Haw! Looks like it will be a good
year. I will be at the stand for most of
the day, so I'll be hit-or-miss here for
the next three months.

DH has already loaded up my bread &
butter pickles, and my crocheted boas,
so I should make some money.

Stay safe, and be kind to each other.

Hugs,
Momala
