Can someone please turn off the water? Sheesh it's been raining for days. I can't remember the last time I saw the sun and I'm solar powered! My energy bar is at only 20%. Did I move to Seattle and don't remember?
Monster is being particularly annoying this morning. Nothing is wrong with him. He doesn't want me to leave.

Happy first day of summer...the longest day of the year!
It was 85* at 4:45am. That doesn't bode well for us. We're under a heat advisory again today. The high will be around 98, with a real feel of about 108. Just like yesterday.
We did 2 laps around the duck pond, came home, realized Paul is working 7 to 3 today, so I hurried to pack his lunch and take him to work.
When I got back, I did a little bit of work in the yard. By 8 o'clock, the sun came out from behind the clouds, and the bugs started biting me. So, I came in and pulled my last load of laundry out of the dryer.
I really need to hit the shower. I smell like a goat.
Cate is coming down to play at ten.
I need to go to Kroger. I guess I should ponder what I want to make for dinner tonight.
Thanks lily. The last few days have been soup-er muggy and wet. Today, the first day of Summer, feels more like the middle of Fall. I had to dig out my fuzzies to get warm. Lol

Lol. Flight was flawless. Except for about two hours on the plane napping we had been up for 24 hours so we did a lot of walking around the city and did naps and showers this afternoon. Just returned from more exploring and dinner. Will sleep well tonight. Family starts arriving tomorrow. And then off to the castle Sunday.
