Had a tiny scare yesterday with baby grandson, I smelled a strong maple syrup odor and when I changed his diaper his pee smelled like maple syrup,so I googled it and maple syrup infant urine disease popped up and it was scary. Dil also googled it and called to find out all the snacks I had given him so she could inform the doctor, one snack that I gave him was a crunchy which is a vanilla maple and the odor was very strong. Today happily no more maple odor.

Scary! So was it the food or an infection? Or an infection caused by the food? I always laugh when my boys would eat weird colorful flavors of ice cream at BR. Their poop would be green the next day.
I brought the boys Subway (their choice) for lunch at camp and ate with them. Tonight the club is having their Prime Rib Birthday buffet so we'll take them to that. They have it monthly, and this month just happens to fall on their exact day. My parents are meeting us and will come to our house for cake after and they can open their presents from them. They opened ours after the party last Saturday.

The boys had a good time. They got fishing poles from grandma & Papa and next week they will be at "grannycamp" aka my parents' house so Papa is going to take them to a local fishing hole to see what they can get! It's strictly a catch and release place but a good place to start...
