I remember when I used to fly out of Hagerstown, MD. Small airport, but only 15 minutes from home at that time. Flights went to Pittsburgh, where we'd get a connection.
Little plane where I sat behind pilot and conversed with him. I let him know only one propeller was moving. He said he was going out to give the other one a little boost and if that didn't work he would kick start the plane. I prayed a lot during that flight.
The boys are spending the night at grandma's and papa will take them fishing early in the morning. That is, if #2 doesn't decide at 10:00 PM that he misses me. I hope that phase ends before he has to go to college.
It's a beautiful day here today. Low humidity, full sunshine, cool breeze. Loving it. I'm sippin my cuppa and watching Wimbledon. I have little work this week so I'll get to watch most of tournament. YAY! Djokovic is playing Kohlschreiber in the first round now. A shame one of them will be knocked out so soon.
I'd rather drive. It's part of the trip. We usually have a ton 9f fun just getting there.
But safe trip.
Happy Monday, all.

I went to the 1976 Summer Olympics, in Quebec. We had tickets for 10 events. It was so much fun!
Well, to be honest...the folks who pretended, not to speak English...kind of sucked.
We had a great time, in spite of the French speaking *******s!
Lol. Well, in Quebec there is a very good chance that many of them didn't speak English! When they finish high school a lot of them come to the western provinces to get jobs and learn english.

I was in Quebec about 20 years ago. They all mostly spoke english but some refused to speak it to me and DS. Little did they know we could muddle our way through french and spanish. Never tipped those that we heard speaking english to others but not to us. Their loss.

Yeah there is that. Francophones don't like anglophones. They consider themselves superior. It's why they keep trying to secede.
They are only hurting themselves though with the tourists.
They don't care. They also don't care that they have no natural resources and can't actually contribute to the country, much less survive on their own. Pffft. Tourists. We'll go just to gawk at them!
