What do your grandkids call you?

Been thinking about it, gotta say, I don't see myself as a granny, but I like it just the same.

Would love to be mawmaw, but my mom is mawmaw, so I want something different.

LOL, the things I think about these days.

My aunts/uncles/grandparents just went by which ever baby name came out. Ga-ma was what my brother always called my Grandma. I'm not one for pet names, so I always used the formal terms (still call my aunts Auntie). My brother couldn't say Uncle for a long time, so both of our unkles went by Unkie

I like Grammy because it isn't much different from my given name.

My mom goes by Grandma. My grandmothers were always grandma to me. When referencing one, I would include their last name to my mom so she would know which one I was talking about. Grandma C was a character. And by that I mean she wasn't always very nice, particularly to my mom, her DIL. So when I want to toy with my mom, I call her Grandma C. ehehe

My father is papa to the boys. My grandfather was papa to my niece, to distinguish him apart as a Great. My father cringed when the boys started calling him papa, when they first learned how to talk, but it's grown on him. Especially when he found out that his elder cousin, with whom he shares a birthday (different year) and idolized as a kid, is called papa.

I had a dear friend, a woman I worked for/with and the mother of a guy I dated (who always wanted me as her DIL), went by granny when she got older. Sadly, I received news yesterday that she passed at the age of 97.

My mom goes by Grammy. My dad and step mom go by Papa and Nana.

My grandmothers were Grandma to me sometimes followed by their first name

My boss' wife is Lovey.

My receptionist is "Jane". Her name is actually Wendy. We have no clue where it came from.

My office manager is Ceecee.

My kids call their grandmothers "Grandma" and their grandfather was "Papa". But my nephew calls my MIL "Mommom".

I think, when the time comes, I want to be Nana.
