I finished OITNB last night. I gotta say, it really was a good story. Well told. You could related with the characters.
School starts back tomorrow for our county.
There are 2 new middle schools being built in my area. 1 in the county, 1 in the city.

My husband had total hip replacement on his right hip on July 11th. He is recovering nicely, but it was a really busy few weeks for me. He has to have the left hip replaced next month. Doctor said it was horrible and the worst he'd ever seen in someone so young.
His gallbladder is fine. The ultrasound showed it is not his gallbladder, it is his liver. He has early stage non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. So he has had to radically alter his diet.
I've been overwhelmed this summer with the trip back home, tense issues with my mother, coming back to find a horrible leak in the bathroom basement so that we have to replace the fixtures, my husband's surgery, and covering for co-workers who are on vacation while being swamped with my own work. Plus handling the kids and pets on my own because DH can't really help much.
I need a few day drinking days on a beach by myself. Thanks!

I haven't watched the last season of OITNB yet - looking forward to it. Have you tried Wentworth yet? It's a women's prison drama from Australia. I'd say it's really more intense than OITNB. I think all 7 seasons are on Netflix.

Oh LL, I'm so sorry. I was just thinking that I hadn't see you around lately and I'd missed that DH was needing such intense surgery. Hopefully the radical changes will help!

Oh, and my MIL had a car accident 3 weeks after she had shoulder replacement surgery. Completely crushed her arm. We are trying to convince her to move to an independent living facility.
