Would you ever go back in time and date an ex?

Very weird few weeks.  All of a sudden some ex BFs that I cast aside have been messaging me.  I did have dinner tonight with one and another if Im'img me.  Both are great people, just at the time not right for me.  Not one bad thing about either of them.  Do I go back and try again?

Maybe take some baby steps and get to know one another again. If it doesn’t lead to more at least you gained a friend.

Why the heck not? Even if there was something specifically wrong, people change. Everyone deserves a second chance

I can think of one that I wish I hadn't let go of. But he was way further ahead than I wanted.

Yes. One in particular. It was a wonderful relationship. We parted amicably.

I think, if your gut is telling you to try it again, then do.

The only things we tend to regret are the things we don't do.

I became friends with an ex. He had a girlfriend at the time, but whenever I was in town he would drop everything to see me. When I got engaged to DH, he wished me well and stopped contacting me. Apparently when we reconnected 12 years after dating, he had more romantic interests and I assumed we were just friends.

I think if you both are on the same page it might be worth pursuing. But time might make you remember why you parted.
