The ladies at church are giving Caitlyn a baby shower today. The fellowship hall was so cute this morning.

It's a typical hot fall day for us. It's 90, the real feel is 99.

Hope everyone is enjoying their day.

It's a puttering day. Also, I logged into work and saw some emails I need to take care of tonight. Blech

Drove DD and a friend to a cuaint town about 45 minutes away. The friend used to live there so they are just hanging. as I dropped them off I gave them words advice every teenager's mom needs to "have fun but don't get arrested". I kill myself.

Just back from the shower. It was marvelous. The church ladies really out did themselves. Here are the decorations.

And she got to keep all of it. The teepee, the pillows, the dream catchers, the backdrop, everything. 

And the clothes! Miss Jewel will be the best dressed baby.

And there was about $300 worth of gift cards.

I'm humbled by it all, Caitlyn cried. We are so blessed.

IKWTDS, I'm right there with you in the advice category. Only mine was "not to do anything I wouldn't, and don't get caught." 

FNW, partying? I'm worn out from a baby shower! 😣how the mighty have fallen.

MOMALA, let us know if washing the truck brings rain. We got a nice stormy night on Friday. But we need more.

My project is my much hated pantry. It's narrow and deep and lacking proper shelving. I was going to rip it out and put some kind of shelving in the spot but it's really in there. I did remove the doors. If it weren't for that stupid beam in the middle I wouldn't hate it so much. I'm going to cut it off with a saw and put a big door on or something.

That's a good idea! The width is only about 2 feet but I bet I could find something.

It's 23 inches. I left the hinges on one side so installing something will be somewhat simple.

What about something like a pie safe?

I bet you could find some pieces to fit in those frames.
