Happy Halloween 2nd! That's what my kids call October.

I'm told by 2 weather reports that our temps are about to take a turn towards fall.
This September was the second hottest on record. We had 90 temps 28 days, 9 of those days were 95 and higher. The real feel for the month was averaged at 100. We are in a drought, too.
But, in the next 2 to 3 days it should cool off. Temps in the 80s are coming!

Nice surprise today. We went to the Doctor to get our influenza shots for this winter and discovered that, from this year, all people over 75 get their shots for free. Yah. Normally it costs about $25.00 for each of us. Not a lot of money, but a nice surprise. I have an idea that so many old people are just scraping along on their retirement income and since they are so vulnerable to the flu, the National Health Insurance made this provision for everyone over 75.
