I took Monster out around 5:20 this morning. While out there, Monster scared a possum, and he chased it up onto the porch and between my feet, then off the other side.
If I was fully awake, and could see better, it was dark, I might have had me a come-apart.
Need to do the floors today.

Busy morning at work. Things have slowed down a bit. Nor'easter is moving in. Tonight I need to get talk my stuff out of the master bath. Tomorrow is reno day. Just took the last shower in the 70's themed blue shower stall.
This weekend I have to finish packing up the half bath and laundry. Vanity and toilet being removed and new flooring on Tuesday.

Hi, all. Yesterday was road trip day. It was a l o n g day!
Asked DGS to mow the lawn and he did last evening. Just in time for him to shovel the snow off the sidewalks on Thursday. Something is not right about that...

Today is our last warm day. It's 63 degrees, windy and sunny. Thursday will be so darn cold! High will be 45 at 6:00 in the morning and goes downhill from there. Looking at a high of 36 on Friday. I'm not ready for this.

Faith isn't something that keeps bad things from happening. Faith is what helps us get through bad things when they do happen.
I hope we get snow at some point. Preferably when my soon to be here grandbaby is at my house.😉

/so the sink / countertop isn't so bad replaced that 6 years ago. But I am replacing it. But look at the 70's blue shower and the mold on the ceiling. Plus the light fixture. All being replace tomorrow. Plus the mirror, putting in a medicine cabinet.
Having a glass shower door installed as well, but that won't happen for another week. It has a rainfall style tempered glass. So excited.

I actually miss those fiberglass kind of enclosures. They were so much easier to clean and didn't grow mold.
Acrylic is the new fiberglass. Just wait until you see it. i refused to do the real tile with grout given my experience with that. Plus I don't have an exhaust fan yet in that bathroom, I will tomorrow.

Sounds great, IKWTDS! We went with real tile and grout and it's a PIA. We have two exhaust fans, but they are the quiet ones and don't do anything so we leave them off and just dry the shower completely with a towel every day. Walls, floor, glass door and glass walls. Every inch. PIA.

Real tile is beautiful but I am so over it due to the maintenance. The exhaust fan is the Panasonic one that you really can't hear. I had one installed in the main bath and it's wonderful.
