Election craziness continues. There is a gofundme page for some guy who wants to start a Republic of Alberta and people are actually giving him money!!? There is literally no chance in the world that this money will be (1) be going to a useful cause and (2) legitimate!!
Now we wait to see if JT steps down as party leader (he should but he won't) and watch to see if the 5-party coalition can do all the things it says it will do.
Miserable, misty day here all.......day......long! UGH! I'd rather it just rain and get it over with. It's also been windy. Glad I'm home and comfy cozy puttering around.

Momala! I put a 6 lb chicken in the refrigerator to defrost (it was frozen for a couple months and hard as a rock) and forgot about it. Today I took it out and there was still some ice around the legs so I rinsed it, seasoned it, and roasted it. It smelled and looked fine and it smells delicious now that it's done roasting.
Do you think it was safe to eat, having been in the refrigerator and possibly thawed since late Saturday?
It's fine, especially if you got it up to temp. It killed any bacteria.

Good afternoon! Glad your chicken turned out ok fnw, hello everyone👋🏻. A little frustrating, fasted since 6 last evening for a blood test this morning so they would have it for my doctors appointment this Thursday and it turned out that since I haven’t been in two years they couldn’t draw my blood till I have my appointment this Thursday so I could get reinstated back with my doctor. My fault, time just flew by, but they could have at least called me yesterday to let me know. Babysitting my sweet grandsons this afternoon.
