Neighbors had a tree, not a huge tree, a medium size tree, fall on their shed late last night, but, thankfully, it didn't do any real damage. Other than debris, that's the extent of damage to our neighborhood.
Not sure about the rest of town, I haven't left the house since Wednesday. No. I'm not really bothered by that fact, either.
I have been thinking about Christmas, trying to get gift ideas, decorating strategies, and party plans together. I may start decorating right after Halloween.

DH got new cable boxes for us yesterday and they are wireless. Well they are wired to the TV and have a power cord, but they do not need to have cable screwed into it. So that means I can move the TV around anywhere I want. So I rearranged the furniture in the living room today. Fun!
I'm washing baby clothes. This time around, it's fun. 😄

I do need to take the printer "station" out of my dining room and bring it up to either the spare bedroom or my work area and it would be great to have a wireless internet router that to I can do that.
Been a rainy day here. It was good, we needed down time. We did go to my brother's and had lunch and DD raided my Bro's vinyl collection. Funny, My nephew just took a job with the company where both Bro and I work. He will be a great asset. SW Engineer.
I just did some work preparing for the week. Although I dreaded working today I feel good for doing so. I am now very prepared for the week.

Only she'll only be about a month old, but next Christmas will be crazy fun! I can't wait to take her around to see the lights next year.

So much fun tonight. Took sonny out to pee just as a few of DD's friends were unexpectedly Boo'ing her so I had them sneak inside and then told them to run down that basement stairs to the family room where DD was. So much fun and we all had a great laugh. Girls are still here listening to the new vinyl.

It's Diwali tonight. I live in a veerrry south asian neighbourhood a few blocks from the temple. Fireworks like crazy. Puppy won't go outside. Sucky fireworks though. Can't see anything, can only hear them. And they sound like they're right next door.
