It was near 80 last night for trick or treating now in the 40's. A big storm rolled in around 8 pm which was fine because the kids were done by 7 last night. Mostly little ones that started early, while it was still light out. They were cute.

Lily, hold off on the Christmas decorating for a bit longer, T-day hasn't arrived yet, lol.
DH and I came home late yesterday. Mom is being transferred back to the assisted living facility today. Doctor said nothing more can be done for her and it is time to let nature take it's course. Mom's platelet count is 18, and the A-fib is what it is. My sisters are having a hard time, but I don't want mom to suffer any longer and yes, she is suffering now. I will go back up in a few days. Can't afford to live in a motel right now. Breaks my heart, but we have to face reality. The other three sisters are with mom today yet. Mom is overwhelmed by three, she doesn't need more right now and she was overwhelmed when we were all there with our spouses. My brother went home as well. It's just hard right now.

#2 went out trick or treating. #1 stayed home and scared the kids. Until he got too hot from the mask then decided to go for a run in the dark, catching up with #3 and DH. #2 was almost finished, and during his run neighbors were out with bonfires and water so he stopped for a water break. #2 and one other girl, a former classmate, were the oldest ones out there. I suspect this might be his last year.
I just saved $125.87 on groceries with coupons and my value card. I swear, I'm going to learn how to save more. I want to get to at least a 90% savings on groceries.
It's cold, and everything is damp.
I'm in my comfy housecoat and settled in for the night.
