Happy Thanksgiving to all! Our power was out for several hours but came back up recently. I'll bet there were many neighbors in a panic. Our generator purred like a kitten. Another thing to be thankful for on this windy morning.
The real feel temp is 38 this morning, but there is tons of sunshine, and it is warming up nicely.

Soup Rice, and Kentucky Bourbon
Pecan Tarts (mini pecan pies). The
only thing I miss is the leftovers!
We stretched it out. I put out a charcuterie around noon with hot mulled apple cider in a carafe for everyone to help themselves. That keeps them out of the kitchen while I cook. Then we ate around 3:30 pm, cleaned up and went to the botanical gardens for their Christmas light displays. After that we returned home for desserts.
