There is snow in the forecast for Sunday.  Maybe.  In some parts of the lower mainland.  Not here.  BUT, that doesn't stop the radio stations from making a huge deal about how this weather system to the south east of us *might* move close enough that the outer parts of the lower mainland (2hrs from the coast) that there *might* be a few flakes.  no  Drama queens.  Potential of -4C (24F) that they are calling 'sub arctic temperatures'.  Gotta have some drama - might be the closest we get to winter for a while.

Bomb Cyclone is another stupid drama term.

It's going to be a doozy here. Our totals keep edging up.

Going to make wine in a bit then do some errands. Hoping get to downtown tonight for the Holiday stroll.

Morning.

Hanging out at the house today. Tonight is the tree and downtown lighting, may go to that. Nothing else planned.

Creeping up to our high of 70 today, 75% of rain.

Putting the finishing touches on my Christmas decor then we'll go to the club for prime rib dinner. They have it once a month and those celebrating a birthday that month eats for free. And we're tired of turkey.

 You know the episode in Italy where Lucy and Ethel get in the big barrel of grapes and squish the grapes with their feet?  Yeah that isn't how. 

 

There is a place near me where you can make beer, wine, and even soda.  The grapes are some of the same ones used in some more expensive wines.  If you have your own bottles your per bottle cost is about $6-7 per.  A batch of wine yields 20 bottles.  This is the place.  https://incredibrew.com/

It's a great place and the owner is a lot of fun.  He travels all over the world choosing the grapes.  This is my retirement job I hope.

Making your own wine sounds like fun.
I'm still on call but the docs are probably glued to the tv to watch ball games. I bet we ate swamped tomorrow.

We decided not to go to the tree lighting tonight, and it was a good decision. The sky just exploded with thunder and lightning, and it's raining buckets full.

It's amazing how changing one letter totally changes a sentence. hahahaha

So glad tomorrow's Sunday and I'm off work. Supposed to be getting a storm overnight. Weathercasters here are making a big deal of it. I don't think we'll get all they're saying though. We're on the cusp. It looks like IKWTDS is going to get nailed bad with it though. Be safe!
