Post office was practically dead. Thankfully. Package mailed, along with cards.
Since being back home, I've cleaned out the fridge, almost finished washing dishes (I can't stand for long periods of time), and I've just put an angel food cake in the oven.
Oh! And I've done a little laundry.

Garage guys are done for the day. We have a couple of drywall holes in the basement where it was cut into when we had our gas line ran to the stove and the generator installed and new water lines put in over the last couple of years so they will patch those for us as well in the morning. Will be glad to get that done!

Installation of the new bath finally started today. 8:30 to 5:40 with a lunch break and two small coffee breaks. 5 guys. Ripped out the old bath and tile, block, etc. (what a lot of noise and drilling, pounding) and put down the new concrete on the floor. Restored hot and cold water to the rest of the house - thank goodness, especially for the toilet. Tomorrow they are going to construct the new wall (had to be pushed out 15 centimeters for the unit bath) and do more work on the water. Things seem to be going nicely; estimated finish on Saturday, the 14th....

Just got my sugar cookie dough made and in the fridge. We'll work on cutting and baking tomorrow. It may be Wednesday before we decorate them.
