nothing much here. Bought the paint for the spare bedroom. It's Nebulous White from Sherwin. I hope I like it, not concerned with the spare bedroom but if I like it then I will have my living room painted with the same color. I've changing my color scheme from warm colors to cool ones. The warm colors tend to make a house look dated. Once the living room is painted I plan on buying new furniture and an area carpet.

Holding Jewel and trying to make a grocery/shopping list for tomorrow.
I have some work to do, but it can wait.
Jewel likes sleeping on her stomach, on your chest. Wish someone would come up with a contraption to mimick that.
Chili does sound good.
Happy Thursday.

Somewhat. I did all the bathrooms over in 2019. Down to the last few "want" projects so 2020 will be much cheaper. Once the living room painting is done I will then look at furniture. Also putting a barn door specially built to shut the laundry area opening off from the living room. Already have the carpenter to make it. I then need to see if I can eek out the cost of a pellet stove insert into my fireplace. They run about 8K but want it. Then I will decide on refacing the brick on the fireplace.

Yes, nice and quiet here, too. Read the New Year's post cards; ate some more of yesterday's New Year food; watched TV. A nice, lazy day. Tomorrow promises to be the same.

Hi, Karl ~
Happy that you are having a nice
tranquil start to the new year.
"Diet Cabbage Soup" is on the
stove - the house smells wonderful!
Hopefully, I'll keep off the pounds I
lost last month.
DH surprised me, and asked that I
drive him to Seguin - 35 miles away.
OK. I'm always up to driving, as I'm
the designated driver.
We arrive at Walmart, and he tells
me to drive into the Lube and Tire
area. He had ordered, on line, 4
new tires for my car! I had 64,488
miles on the original tires (rated at
60K), so he wanted to make sure
that I had the best during the
winter season. Took them two
hours to change, balance, and
rotate the tires, but I'm set for
another 60K miles!!!!!
What a keeper !
I must have done something good
in a previous life to deserve such a
good man. His parents, especially
his mom, did a great job.
