just getting stuff done. Ready to go back to work. It is 40 right now so I was able to shovel the walkway since it was not packed ice / snow and cleared the areas of the driveway that the plow couldn't get. More snow moving in for Sunday morning, not a big storm but will have to blow it.
Started my tax return last night. Doing it based on the last paystub of the year will have to adjust once I have my W-2. Easy return since I no longer itemize. Thank you low mortgage / interest and Trump.

Finally got the rest of Christmas decorations put away. It was 72 today. The rain will be moving in over night. I'm glad this week is over. Work was a little dramatic.
STICKER SHOCK! Goodness! My groceries before coupons and discounts was $504 and change. After the discounts, it was $374 and change. But, I think I bought enough for the month.
It's rained all day. It's a soupy mess out there. Flood warnings every where.

I unplugged mine but the cords are still under the snow and frozen to the ground. Perhaps March?

Granted, there were some great deals, and I was building my pantry back up on Staples. But I do miss the days of pulling out a jar of whatever that was canned by the family. Never appreciated it until I became the one shopping.

Whenever I think of shopping in the US I still think of 3lbs of hamburger for a dollar; bread at 30 cents a loaf. Stuck in the 60's... LOL
That was before my time!
However, I do remember going to a local amusement park with $20 and coming home with change!
