Woke up hungry, but I don't feel like eating. Too tired. Maybe later.
Jewel is sleeping, so I'm going back to sleep, too.
It's a cold, frosty morning.
Happy Monday.

Afternoon, everyone! It was a snowy start to the day here. It snowed most of the night but accumulated only less than an inch. But, I had to clean off the Wrangler before heading out to work this morning for 7. Thankfully I only worked four hours. The sun came out and melted all the snow! YAY! Supposed to warm up by late week to near 50.
I finally managed to get the dining room drapes re-worked and hemmed. What a chore that was. It all had to be done by hand since I don't have a sewing machine. But they look awesome, if I must say so myself. lol Glad that's done. Now I can move on to cleaning out the spare room.
IKWTDS, I envy your painting the house. It really changes the look of a room. I wish I could do that to my apartment. Although I do like the standard color they use here, I just don't like the same color in every room. I like them to each be original and separate. Oh well . . .
We had sleet yesterday. Frost this morning. And we are expecting rain tonight.

After searching the internet I have decided not to buy a new PC with Windows 10 or try to upgrade from my Windows 7. I have a good antivirus (Malwarebyes Premium) and a good firewall in my router, not to mention the one on the PC. So I will just risk it after Jan 10 when support ends for Windows 7. I only use this thing to post on this board, contact two remaining classmates, buy on Amazon and once in a while on eBay and check out the stock prices. Can't see all the hassle of getting a new PC, trying to learn how to use it, getting it connected to my router, etc.... So, if and when this machine fails me, I will probably just be silent. LOL Unless someone has a better idea of a hassle free device......
I got a new laptop for Christmas. It didn't seem like I had to do anything except turn it on. I moved all my files and pictures from old laptop to One Drive and I can access them on my new computer. Once I logged into windows on new computer I got all my bookmarks, saved passwords, log ins, etc. Kind of scary, actually.
Good morning! Good to be back. The weather is snowy/rainy here (temps -1 - 1* C). Supposed to drop to -9*C which is going to be considered a catastrophe. Sadly, it will be because this area so rarely gets snow that it becomes a thing on the roads and with busses which throws everything else into a tizzy. It looks like a lot of the bad weather will be on my days off, so hopefully it won't be too impactful on me.

You need to find a teenager to walk
you through a new pc. For them, it
is just a walk in the park !
DH gave me a tablet for Christmas.
I haven't worked on it yet, and I
think I will return it - I'm fine with
my Android phone and a 15 year
old computer (with a few upgrades)
