Temp was 14 when I got up, down to 11. Windchill makes it the -7 Trudy stated. and a sizable snow storm looming for tomorrow afternoon.
I am off today so checking off items on the to-do list. Made a grocery list, ordered more oil, and now off to sand a vanity and put another coat of poly on it. Should be done after this second coat.

Not so bad outside. -1*. Wish the dog had let me sleep longer, but 715 is pretty good. OFff today, and had planned to run some errands, but I'm still worried that my car will have trouble on the neighbourhood streets. I might give it a try, now that it is frozen there might be some more traction in the slush.
I had a dentist appt. this morning so I wasn't sure if I would make it to see #1 compete in the school's National Geographic Geography Bee but I did! He took 3rd! Way to represent! The top two were 8th graders, so he had some tough competition!

I'm sure you know this trick, but . . .
carry a large bag of sand or clay
kitty litter in your trunk. If you
should happen to get stuck, put
some sand on either side of your
drive tires, and you should be
able to get out of any situation.
